So we are loving Max. He was sick with pneumonia when we got him and the vet I took him to was the rudest lady ever. But he is all better now and he has lots of energy. He is so happy to see us when we get home for work. He listens to me very well, still working on listening to Ray though. He likes the neighbor dog. He is always trying to go over to her apartment to see her. He also met a girl dachshund at Petco and they got along great. Only problem is that he doesn't seem to like Zach, Randy and Shawna's dog. He was growling at him at our place and we thought it was because Zach was on his territory. Well Ray took him over there last weekend and Max bit Zach. Not good. He does great with every other dog so this is not a good issue that he can't get along with family. I bought him a navy blue sweater that has a football on the back. He is absolutely adorable in it! (again no computer to upload pictures) I can't wait to show everyone how cute he is!
In other news, we have a new offer on the property. The new company is small but we're really hoping this one will go through. It's been so hard being for sale for so long and having nothing go through. It gets frustrating after awhile. I also have to keep my eyes open on other properties that are hiring because nobody knows yet if this new company wants to keep everyone. I guess we will see how things go.
I'm going out to Auburn tomorrow for my 2nd cousin's wedding. I'm so excited! :D I heard my cousin Janae had to get her wisdom teeth pulled while up at school and there was no one there with her. Poor thing! I need to get stuff together to send to her. I feel horrible because I haven't talked to Melissa or Janae since they left for school. I'm such a horrible cousin! We're still trying to figure out what is going on for Christmas so I can send out the 'Who has Who' list for presents. If it is at Nancy's I have to add Dean and Ray to the list. I think it may be since Christmas is on a Monday and everyone has to work the next day.
Ray and I are looking at tickets online, hoping to go see Jess and Steve in Florida in February. Last I checked tickets were only $200 so that would be great! We found THE perfect couch the other day in southcenter area. It was black and soft and the couch/loveseat set was only $850. Too bad we didn't have that much since we just bought a dog. :D I started painting our bedroom a light blue. It is a lot brighter on the wall then in the can. I hope I will learn to love it though. I got my favorite picture of Cannon Beach professionaly framed. It was expensive but it was worth it. It looks amazing. I also got a cool frame from IKEA that I put 5 of my flower pictures in, black and white, but before we got it hung Max accidentally ran into it and broke the glass so now I need that too.
Well this turned out a lot longer than I had planned. I hope everyone is well and good.

MAX
So this is an extremely happy post! So most people know that I LOVE dachshunds! I used to have my little Buddy but things didn't really work out with the whole roommate thing and her dog so I couldn't keep him. Anyway, I've been planning since February (when I got my tax refund) that this coming February I would use my tax refund to get a new puppy. Well, last Sunday Ray said we needed a dog. Then he had Monday and Tuesday off, so Monday he says, lets go look at dogs. Well, went went to the King County Animal Control shelter in Kent and guess what???? They had a dachshund!!! He was perfect! He is red and a mini and looks just like Buddy did! So of course, I have to get him! They picked him up on the 26th of Sept wandering around a shopping center in Issaquah. So I go up front and wait forever and then say I want him. But, he had shots that day to go into surgery so they tell me to come back tomorrow. Now believe me, it was very hard to leave without taking him with me. I thought about him all night. I called first thing when they opened on Tuesday and asked if he was available for adoption, the answer was yes. Then when we drive all the way out to Kent they tell me he is in surgery (it got postponed from the day before) and would be ready to pick up at 4 or 4:30. So I adopted him before I got to meet him but fine with me. So Ray and I went to the SuperMall and walked and then we went and saw The Guardian. There was like 10 people in the whole theater on a Tuesday afternoon. So after the movie we got to go and get him. We named him Max. He slept pretty much the whole night since he was still coming off some drugs. The next day he was a much happier dog. Only problem, when I left in the morning on Wed and Thurs he got so anxious that he started chewing the blinds. So we are now missing 6 blinds and 7 more are all chewed up on the bottom. He is definately a mama's boy. He doesn't listen to Ray very well yet. I keep trying to tell him to listen to his daddy. He only poops for Ray though, not for me. Funny. Anyway, we have a new member to the family. Mister Max Isom. He is 2 years old and we're so happy to have him! We got him a ball at Petco the other night. He almost grabbed it out of my hand at the store he was so excited. He loves that ball, he sleeps with it even! I can't wait to show everyone pictures! We put a computer on layaway at Wal-Mart so we should have that by November! :D FINALLY!
